ITEL’s partnership with flooring mills and manufacturers is a critical component in the service we provide to insurance carriers and ultimately to the homeowner after a stressful event. In a property loss, the insurance adjuster sends a piece of the damaged flooring to ITEL. The adjuster receives a report providing:

• Specifications of the tested sample
• Up to three active styles of similar flooring
• A fair settlement price

What ITEL Offers Mills and Manufacturers:

Manufacturer style names are listed on ITEL lab reports offering companies greater marketing exposure. Our floor covering database provides the opportunity to put your products in front of thousands of buyers a month.
Confidentiality agreements are signed by ITEL to ensure that manufacturer pricing and specification data is not disclosed. ITEL only discloses the average pricing of all equivalent products based on specification matches.

What ITEL Needs From Mills and Manufacturers:

To consider products for comparison, ITEL needs:

• Style specifications (construction method, fiber type, face weight, gauge and stitch rate, etc.),
• Pricing data
• If available, a product sample for our reference library

In addition, we need one contact person from your company who can supply regular updates.

About ITEL’s database:

ITEL receives data from most domestic flooring mills and manufacturers including the top three US carpet mills.
